Global Flood Partnership 2022 Annual Meeting - Registration closed!

The next Global Flood Partnership Annual Meeting will take place on 6 - 8 September 2022 in Leeds, UK, hosted by the University of Leeds .

Together we will discuss how to best foster the dialogue between scientists and users and how GFP products and expert knowledge can work in synergy to provide key information to emergency managers at different stages before, during and after severe floods.

The latest version of the draft agenda is available here

Logistical information (hotel reservation) can be found here (see document attached).

Similar to the 2019 meeting there will be different opportunities for participants to present their work and exchange ideas, and make the meeting interesting and lively. This includes a "Marketplace" session, "Ignite talks", an interactive session, and a poster pitch session, and there will be a guided tour.

Oral and ignite-talk contributions will be selected by the GFP steering committee. Other works will be presented as poster.

Kind regards,

Global Floods Partnership Steering Committee,

Sagy Cohen, Erin Coughlan, Albert Kettner, Lara Prades, Roberto Rudari, Peter Salamon, Beth Tellman, Mark Trigg (Meeting host), Frederiek Sperna Weiland, and Huan Wu.

Local organiser for water@leeds, Ann Marie Boyle
