Join the Global Flood Partnership at the upcoming Understanding Risk conference in Mexico City

Join the Global Flood Partnership at the upcoming Understanding Risk conference in Mexico City! This bi-annual conference brings together risk modelers and risk managers from around the world to discuss the state of the art in this field.

GFP will host a side-event on Monday morning, from 9am to 1pm in the Bicentenario. This will be an engaging and lively discussion on recent developments in global flood modeling, forecasts, and observations. The event will bring together both producers and users of global flood risk information.

Come discuss and share your methods and questions in a highly interactive event focused on innovation in understanding flood risk.  This session will develop collaborations and partnerships for global flood forecasting, monitoring and impact assessment to strengthen preparedness and response, with the goal to reduce global disaster losses contributing to the Sendai framework.
